Each Massage and treatment will be unique and individualized to your needs. I intuitively feel what is happening with your body, where you are experiencing pain, and what you need to reach your goals. I will likely feel restrictions that you are unaware of, but trust I am providing the best therapeutic treatment for your desired outcome. Often one area may need deep tissue while another needs myofascial release. We will develop a treatment plan that is right for you, including the following techniques:
Our bodies are designed to heal themselves if we treat them right. It is most commonly a combination of things that will bring our bodies back to a state of peace and free of pain. I will promote wellness and healing in your body while teaching you stretches, proper sleeping habits and the way to avoid further injuring yourself. I also can tell if referrals are needed such as Chiropractic or Physical Therapy. I have helped many people stay off the surgery table sometimes just by recognizing that their excruciating pain is due to muscles that have become weak due to lack of use and need physical therapy, Or that the shooting pain is caused to a pinched nerve by there skeletal structure being out of alignment. So weather you would like to reduce the amount of medication that you’re taking or push off risky surgery I will help you get your maximum relief.
A combination of multiple techniques to achieve relief of muscular tension. Therapeutic Massage is very effective. It can best be described as relaxing as a Swedish massage but not as aggressive as a deep tissue.
Deep Tissue is for the experienced massage client only. It is the deep manipulation of skeletal muscle and its associated connective tissues. When you have deep tension and severe Knots that are causing headaches and numbness a deep tissue massage can break up those muscle fibers to release the build of toxins and lactic acid that’s causing so much discomfort. As it is recommended after all massages to drink plenty of water this one it is vital to the recovery of your muscles and a detox bath is highly recommended afterwards for optimal results.
Swedish is the basic relaxation of muscular tension. Just wanting to relax and get out that lingering stiffness? With my smooth touch and flowing motion I have a combination of movements that may even have you sleeping on my table. You will have that feel good sense of euphoria leaving you de-stressed and ready to enjoy the rest of your day.

Sports massage is designed to increase range of motion, Help your muscles recover from demanding physical activities like cycling, weight lifting, any sport or intense work out regiment. I provide safe assisted stretching to go beyond your maximum flexibility so that you can reach on your full stretch. There will also be breaking down the adhesions that are gluing your muscles together and restricting your movements. Leaving you free to run faster, stretch farther and lift more easily.
Your whole body is changing to accommodate the beautiful life growing inside you. That means your hips are moving, your lower back is carrying more weight, your feet are tired and starting to swell at the end of the day. When you’ve experienced tension in your body, but have had minimal results with previous massage or deep tissue work, it is usually because your muscles aren’t tight; the fascia is bound up. This work can be gentle, but is incredibly effective. “Unwinding” the tight fascia in the body can release the tension you’ve been feeling. Fascia is a fibrous connective tissue your ligaments and tendons are made up of. It also is what holds everything in place inside your body, present throughout your body. This particular style of myofascial release was and continues to be developed by John Barnes.
This can be a great treatment for increasing range of motion. If you are feeling restriction in your athletic performance or daily tasks, this form of assisted stretching uses isometric contractions, which can help you take great strides in a short amount of time. Facilitated stretching is a form of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and requires some involvement on your part. It’s best to be prepared with a sports bra and shorts if this will be part of you treatment.
This is very effective technique working with “trigger points” in the body, which can refer pain to other areas of the body. An example of a trigger point can be when you feel a “knot” in your shoulder and it gives you a headache. By incorporating these points into your session, you can experience greater lasting relief all over.
Lymphatic Drainage can be very useful for when edema or swelling is taking place in the body. Swelling can be caused due to injury, scaring, surgery, or poor circulation. By increasing the lymph flow with this work your body is more able to clear waste and edema.
This luxurious two-hour pampering begins with a full body exfoliating salt glow to smooth away any roughness. Next you’ll be wrapped in a warm cocoon of a detoxifying herbal body wrap, leading into an herbal face treatment, all to end with a hydrating full body massage. This is the ultimate self-restoration experience. $175/120 min.
This originates in ancient eastern medicine. Bringing clearing to the ears and sinuses, this treatment can help with allergies, non-medical hearing loss, and excessive earwax. The ear candles are hollow pencil shaped cones made-up of muslin dipped in beeswax. The smoke created from the candles enters the ear canal and softens and draws the wax and toxins to the outer ear. I also perform a lymphatic drainage around the ear to help the body clear toxins from within. $85/60 min.
The deep penetrating heat of the black basalt stones can soften tense muscle and melt away stress. This is a wonderful way to relax and feel completely pampered. While this massage is primarily preformed with stones, deeper work can also be incorporated. $135/90 min.
How it works: The Celluma LED Light Therapy provides compromised cells with the energy to regain and restore vitality naturally. It’s powerful, deeply penetrating wavelengths are absorbed by photoacceptors in the mitochondria. The process increases the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – the fuel that drives all cells. This boost of cellular energy results in a cascade of metabolic events leading to an increase in micro-circulation, tissue repair and a decrease in inflammation and pain.
Low light therapy is clinically proven to relieve arthritic pain, muscle and joint pain and stiffness. Results may vary. For best results 30 minute sessions 2-3x a week for 4-6 weeks are recommended.
